Chefs & Shows – Chris Deraiche (The Wellington Gastropub)



On Tuesday, May 1 Chef Chris Deraiche of The Wellington Gastropub will be lending his culinary talents to create a menu inspired by Gracie. 


Roasted beets, squash + arugula, cheddar fondue, smoked apple, pumpkin seeds, cider vinaigrette

Chicken + bacon stew, cauliflower polenta, pickled mushrooms, crispy potato

Verrine of vanilla panna cotta + lemon curd+ wild blueberry preserve, oatmeal chocolate crumble

Wine Recommendations

app - gruner veltliner or riesling
main - ontario or BC pinot noir (or chard for white)
dessert - moscato d'asti or olorosso sherry

Ticket Info

$110 (gratuity included) and include the dinner and show. Bring-Your-Own-Bottle with a $10 corkage fee.

Chris has been entertaining guests for over 10 years at The Wellington Gastropub, in Wellington West. Since its inception, The Wellington has maintained its original concept of a daily changing menu while offering a breadth of Ontario craft beer and an eclectic selection of handpicked wines, all in the comfy surroundings that make The Wellington Gastropub what it is.

About Chefs & Shows

For each of GCTC’s mainstage productions in the 2017-18 season, a pop-up restaurant will form in GCTC’s lobby for one night only during the run. Each pop-up restaurant will be led by one of Ottawa’s most renowned executive chefs and feature a creative prix fixe menu inspired by the play on our stage. The final course includes tickets to the performance that evening.
