2023-24 season announced

The Great Canadian Theatre Company has announced a full subscription season with 5 new mainstage productions, through which five Canadian playwrights share their humourous, heartfelt, provocative, and playful visions of how we relate, what we mean to each other, and how much we need to be together. The TACTICS Mainstage Series brings two locally-grown productions to the GCTC stage

GCTC unveils 2021-22 season

In March 2020, Great Canadian Theatre Company (GCTC) opened the Canadian premiere of Sean Devine’s Daisy, only to close it the very next day due to the pandemic. This December, the play will triumphantly return to the stage as the first show of GCTC’s much anticipated 2021-22 season, and marks the theatre’s return to in-person theatre after a 20-month hiatus. OTTAWA June 11, 2018 – With one preview and three gala performances under their belts, the cast of the 19th Annual GCTC/CCLA Lawyer Play have cause to celebrate. With combined gross revenue from sponsorships and ticket sales, this year’s Lawyer Play – The Rule of Three by Agatha Christie – exceeded all of its fundraising targets, raising $140,000 in funds to support GCTC and this year’s charity partner, Tungasuvvingat Inuit.
