Sight Unseen Subscriptions
Each year, we offer subscribers an exclusive opportunity to renew for next season before knowing what shows will be on stage. In exchange for your vote of confidence, we offer you a discount on your 5-play subscription.
The 26-27 Season will be revealed in March but, in the meantime, we have a few small hints to share:
Show 1 - October 20, 2026 – November 1, 2026:
Hint: Corporate takeover and The 1%.
Show 2 - December 1 - 13, 2026:
Hint: A farce with heart for the holidays.
Show 3 - February 9 - 21, 2027:
Hint: Greek Myth + Real Housewives + Lesbian Pulp + Climate Crisis: A Comedy!
Show 4 - April 6 - 18, 2027:
Hint: The glorious and melancholy unknowability of human life.
Show 5* - May 19 - 29, 2027:
Hint: A 20th Century masterpiece re-imagined for the North.
*This show is at the NAC and is only available through a 5-Play Subscription!

An important note about 26-27 Subscriptions
Before you go further, let’s talk about how to subscribe to the 26-27 Season. Once again, this season has 5 shows. The fifth show of the year, scheduled in May 2027, is a multi-company-co-production that will be onstage at the National Arts Centre (1 Elgin Street). This show is only available through a 5-play subscription. 3 and 4 play subscribers cannot select this show as one of their options, and we will not be selling single tickets to it. The only way to guarantee access to the show is by buying a 5-play subscription.
A 4-Play subscription will include Shows 1 to 4. A 3-Play subscription allows the subscriber to choose 3 plays from shows 1 to 4.
Fixed Series
Our Fixed Series works for subscribers who wish to attend shows on consistent days and sit in the same seats throughout the season. Fixed Series subscriptions are available for 5 plays, 4 plays, and 3 plays. For example, you may choose to subscribe to 5 plays, attend the first Thursday of every show run and sit in seats B2 and B3.
To renew a Fixed Series subscription, log into your account, and click on the tab “Fixed Subscriptions”. Click “buy subscription” and follow the prompts.
To buy a new Fixed Series subscription, click the button below. (During the Sight Unseen time period, only 5-Play subscriptions are discounted, though all are available for purchase.)
Flex Series
Our Flex Series subscribers can choose various dates and seats for each show in their subscription. You can choose some or all of your dates when you purchase, or wait until closer to the date of each show.
For example, you may choose to subscribe to 5 plays, attend each on a different day of the week, and have different seats for each performance. You might book dates for the first two shows right away, and wait to book the rest at a later date.
The Flex Series subscription is available for 5 plays, 4 plays, and 3 plays. (During the Sight Unseen time period, only 5-Play subscriptions are discounted, though all are available for purchase.)
Click below and follow the prompts to add your subscription to the cart, then (either now or later), return here to add each show to your account with your selected dates and times, and the ticket cost will be redeemed from your subscription.
Remember that you can only book tickets to Show 5 if you purchase a 5-play subscription!
Renewing a 3- or 4-Play Fixed Series Subscription? Read this first!
To ensure that all current subscribers have an opportunity to book a 5-Play subscription with access to Show 5, your subscription will automatically try to renew as a 5-Play.
If you prefer to book a 3- or 4-play subscription, click the blue words "Cancel subscription" (above the "Buy Subscription" button). You will see a warning that you are about to lose access to your seats. Don't cancel unless you are ready to immediately book your seats in a 3- or 4-play subscription. You might want to make a note of your seat numbers before you cancel.
Once cancelled, select a 3 or 4 Play subscription, and follow the prompts.

We strive to provide as many access options as possible but the nature of some shows may require us to change or omit certain access initiatives. More information will be available on individual show pages once the season is officially launched.

With a Fixed Series subscription, you select consistent dates and seats through the 2025-26 season. Ex.: you would like to attend the first Friday of every production and sit in D 13 & 14.

With a Flex Series subscription, you select various dates and seats for each production. You can choose your dates all at once or as the season progresses. Flex series includes what was formerly called ‘Play-by-Play subscriptions.’
Ex: You would like to attend the first Sunday of the first production and then select your other dates as the next production approaches.
The Dinner and a Show program
Each season, local restaurants show their support of GCTC by offering patrons like yourself discounts on the night of your tickets, so you can make coming to the theatre a full night on the town. Below is a list of restaurants participating in the 25-26 Dinner and a Show program. This list will be updated before the beginning of the upcoming season.
