Hanorah

Hanorah is known for her powerful, emotive voice. Blending soul folk, and shoegaze, she crafts a sound that is both raw and refined. The Montreal-based artist's latest EP, Closer Than Hell, explores the tension between desire and uncertainty through vulnerable and intense songwriting. The project has been featured on CBC Music and Q with Tom Power, among others.

Her debut EP, For The Good Guys And The Bad Guys (2019), garnered over a million streams and won multiple awards, launching a career that has taken her across Canada, The US and the UK. Her first full-length album, Perennial (2022), was named an "Editor's Pick" by Exclaim! and received national radio play across Canada. In 2023, she closed the Montreal International Jazz Festival alongside The Brooks in front of 40,000 people and in 2025, she returned to the festival's main stage. Today, she continues to explore new creative territory between music and visual arts, driven by a constant urge to create and reinvent.
