“This is a really difficult house.” It’s where people like Kaali and Nevaeh live, but it’s not home. Created from interviews conducted at a youth shelter, The Middle Place brings to the stage the extraordinary voices of 16 homeless teens, 3 tireless caseworkers and 1 well-intentioned outsider. Lauded by critics, this piece of documentary theatre explores the lives of society’s forgotten youth. When was the last time you stopped to think about them?
