GCTC productions earn five Capital Critics Circle Nominations
OTTAWA, ONTARIO – October 13, 2009
Three productions from Great Canadian Theatre Company’s 2008/2009 season have received five nominations for the Capital Critics Circle Theatre Awards throughout the four professional categories.
For Best Professional Production:
Tempting Providence by Robert Chafe, directed by Jillian Keiley, a Theatre Newfoundland and Labrador production.
For Best Director:
Jillian Keiley for Tempting Providence
For Best Actor:
John Koensgen as “Leo” in The Net by Marcel-Romain Thériault, translated by Maureen Labonté and Don Hannah
Paul Rainville as “Angus” in The Drawer Boy by Michael Healey
For Best Design:
Jillian Kealey and team for Tempting Providence
