Is that another extension or are you just happy to see me?

You may have noticed by now that we are excited with the news that we will be extending the production of Janet Wilson Meets the Queen, by the very talented playwright Beverly Cooper until May 8, 2016.

Gender Equity in Theatre

On April 27, 2015 there will be a symposium held on underrepresentation and gender inequities in the theatre industry (see information on poster below). If you happen to be in Toronto for this day-long event I encourage you to attend. Information on best practices and actions to promote change will be gathered and shared in various ways including at the Professional Association of Canadian Theatre (PACT) Conference and AGM in May.

Equity in Theatre Symposium

My Brother Was an Only Child

It has been a month since I started at GCTC as the new Managing Director and I have to first start off by acknowledging the very warm and supportive welcome I have received from everyone. It has been wonderful meeting so many new faces. It has also been very rewarding reconnecting with names and friends from a past and a time when GCTC was playing an integral role for me as an emerging theatre artist and practitioner in the early 1980s.
